Art in the Park

New Program

This program welcomes parents, caregivers and children to be inspired by the process of creating masterpieces together, using recyclable materials and loose parts found in nature.

Baby Move & Groove

Baby Movement
(0-12 months)

This program provides an opportunity for parents, caregivers and their babies to engage in active play that supports the development of gross motor skills while having fun. Through a variety of activities together we will stretch, bend and move to music to support healthy living while celebrating developmental milestones.

Creative Chefs

(2-6 years)

This program invites parents, caregivers and children to participate in fun and interactive early learning experiences while preparing healthy and nutritious food. Resources on healthy eating and nutrition will be made available for families.

Family Fun Outdoors

(0-6 years)

This program provides the opportunity to visit local parks and outdoor spaces. Parents, caregivers, and children can come and enjoy some fun and interactive outdoor physical activities. Studies show that children who play outdoors are happier, healthier, and smarter. Please remember to bring sunscreen, water, a hat, and a blanket.

Family Stay and Play

Parents, caregivers and children are welcome to engage in a variety of fun early learning experiences that build positive relationships. A selection of materials will be available for you to play and learn together while providing parents and caregivers with an opportunity to connect with others.

Family Yoga

(0-6 years)

Yoga promotes a sense of well-being in the mind and body through movements that encourage balance, coordination, good posture and body awareness. Parent/caregivers will also model how to channel their emotions through the practice of deep breathing and relaxation exercises. Wear comfortable clothing.

Fun with Science

Every child is a born scientist! This program offers fun, hands-on, interactive and educational science experiments and ideas for the whole family.

Fun with STEAM

New Program
(2-6 years)

This program invites parents, caregivers, and children to explore STEAM skills and concepts in a group setting. STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) learning happens everyday as children investigate, play, communicate, and try new things.

Goodnight Story

(1-6 years)

Come dressed in pajamas and bring your favourite snuggle toy and be ready for a “Good night story” to finish your fun-filled day.

Little Artists

(2-6 years)

Welcome to Little Artists! This program inspires the adult to nurture creative kids through easy, open-ended and fun activities. It’s the kind of activities that children will want to do over and over again.

Messy Play

This program welcomes parents, caregivers and children to engage with their senses which promote early learning and development. Join us in exploring creative messy activities while having fun.

Musical Babies

(0-12 months)

This program welcomes parents, caregivers and babies to experience music together. Families will gather together and sing songs, learn rhymes and use a variety of musical instruments, props and materials.

Parent Child Mother Goose

The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program® is a group experience for parents and their babies and young children. The program introduces adults and children to the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs, and stories together. Parents gain skills and confidence which can enable them to create positive family patterns during their children’s crucial early years. Children benefit from enjoyable, healthy early experiences with language and communication.

Playful Math

Math is everywhere in our environment!  We will use a variety of songs, rhymes, and activities to discover how math can be part of everyday play.

Sing & Sign

This program is an introduction to American Sign Language for hearing infants. The session uses songs and games as a tool to include signing in everyday routines. It is an opportunity to bond with your baby and support language development as well as attachment.

Join us in this live and interactive virtual program that uses everyday materials and activities to help children understand different science concepts. They will do science experiments using everyday materials while having fun at the same time. Science on the Go will help families take away science experiments and ideas that you can apply with your child in your home.
